Abstract

EOSINOPHILIC granuloma has been known predominantly to be the lesion that attacks the skeletal system such as skull, ribs, and others. Reports on the occurrence of this lesion in the skin and muc3sa has been rather sparse in number.
The present communication is concerned with a case of eosinophilic granuloma in the right axillary fossa in a male patient aged nine months¢¥ old.
The histopathological findings were characterized by a marked eosinophilic and neutrophilic infiltration in a surgically removed hen¢¥s egg-sized tumor mass. This was considered to be the typical pattern of eosinophilic granuloma histologically.
